First Coast Weddings and Events was founded in 2002 with the mission to create stylish, fun, and memorable weddings on Florida's First Coast.

Our Founder and President

Heather Canada Trimboli has been in the wedding business for over 10 years, and has enjoyed every minute of it.  She has been a part of a weddings of all sizes, from the bride and groom on the beach at sunrise to elaborate multi-day events for over 500 guests. Heather is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), the world's leading association for wedding professionals.  She earned the prestigious Professional Bridal Consultant™ through the ABC in 2002, and in 2006 she received her Accredited Bridal Consultant™ designation.  Heather is also a member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), and is an active member of the Northeast Florida Chapter.  She currently serves on the Executive Board as Vice President, in addition to being the chapter's webmaster.  Heather attends national educational conferences each year to stay up-to-date on new trends, products and ideas.

Heather started First Coast Weddings and Events, Inc. in 2002, and currently serves as the company's president.  First Coast Weddings and Events is dedicated to creating "Weddings Without Worries," no matter the size or scale.

In 2005, Heather teamed up with Premier Bride Magazine to co-produce the Jacksonville Bridal Connection, one of the largest and most respected bridal events in the Jacksonville Area. Held twice a year, these bridal shows showcase over 100 vendors and welcome more than 300 brides.  

Heather has worked at an 800-room resort in Orlando planning events of all sizes, and country clubs planning both private and club events.  In addition, she worked at Universal Orlando during the opening of Islands of Adventure, and at Sea World Adventure Park.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Flagler College, where she studied public relations and business.
