Are you looking for something other than the typical photo booth for your wedding? When Ann Meyer LeFiles, publisher of Premier Bride of Northeast Florida, got married last fall, she wanted to incorporate historical touches into her wedding. And she came up with an amazing idea for the reception - not just a photo booth, but a Moon Booth! How romantic is this?
What's even cooler is that her parents made this moon - you read that right, they MADE it! But what makes this idea really awesome is that your parents don't have to be this creative - you can rent the Moon Booth for your Jacksonville wedding. Want to reserve it for your big day? I had the privilege of meeting with Dr. Don Alexander this week, and he had a great idea! Why not invest a little cash on yourself as you plan your wedding? Now is definitely the time to do it, before the house and kids and career really take over.
Dr. Alexander offers Invisalign®, but his practice is unique. It's one of six offices in Jacksonville that have the technology to show you your anticipated results in just 15 minutes! The nifty computer screen you see pictured here is what makes it possible. And the mouth you see on the screen is mine! Granted, I had braces as a kid, and my teeth are still fairly straight, so you don't see a huge difference. But in some of the cases Dr. Alexander showed me, even six months of Invisalign® can make a significant change in your smile. It just takes a few minutes to have your mouth scanned, and then it magically appears on the screen and makes the adjustments.
Dr. Alexander is offering our clients a great discount on Invisalign®, plus free teeth whitening for both the bride and groom. I was surprised to hear how affordable it is, even without the discount! Contact our office to get a special invitation to visit Dr. Alexander's office for a complimentary consultation.
I stumbled on this story on the First Coast News website last night and had to share it!
DETROIT -- On Black Friday, most people wait in lines for hours to take advantage of huge savings. But for one Michigan couple, they did something even more important while standing in line.
Call it a white wedding while in line for Black Friday. "Everybody said you are getting married at Best Buy, in line? For real? Yup, that fits you," said new groom Edward Burbo.
The newly betrothed Jennifer and Edward Burbo are big bargain hunters. They wanted a big wedding but couldn't afford it.
"We are saving money standing in line for Black Friday and we're not really spending much on the wedding," said Jennifer Burbo.
The Burbos need gifts for their blended family, four kids between age 8 and 13 and they can't afford to pay full price. "So we said we are here looking for deals on Black Friday. Let's have a wedding doing the same thing," Edward Burbo said.
The couple met online in November 2007. Days later in line together for their first Black Friday.
The Burbos planned the ceremony just two weeks ago. For two days they camped just to be first in line. An outside the box wedding outside a big box store.
Jennifer Burbo insisted on some tradition. Something borrowed, blue, old and new? A winter white dress. Other deal seekers became well-wishers.
They fell for each other while trying to save a few dollars now they say the best things in life are free.
