Today was a great mail day in our office! Not one but two lovely thank-you notes, one of which was personally dropped off by the parents of the bride.
“Dear Emma – Thank you so much for helping make Teddi and Chris’ wedding so picture-perfect last weekend. I don’t know what we’d have done without your expertise, encouragement, and organization. I’m not sure there is any way to make a wedding totally stress-free… but you tried. Thank you!”
– Nancy & Dave, parents of the bride
“Emma, It was a real treat to work with you and Chris and Teddi’s wedding. You did an EXCELLENT job! Everything was beautiful and ran very smooth. We look forward to working with you in the future!”
I just got a super-sweet note from our September 25, 2010 bride Megan:
“I thought Heather did an amazing job! She found the best people for my wedding and made sure if ran very smoothly. I could not have done it without her. I’m so grateful I found her. Thank you for making my days so amazing, beautiful and special.
I especially recommend her since I was planning a destination wedding. Excellent job!”
This photo is from Megan and Vivek’s engagement session – to see more, check the La Dolce Vita Studio’s blog. More wedding details will be posted soon!
Coming up on Sunday, the world’s longest-married couple will answer relationship questions via Twitter! You have until Friday, February 12th to submit questions to @LongestMarried, and 14 questions will be chosen and answered on Valentine’s Day.
Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher were married in 1924. According to Mashable.com, “The couple, who enjoy hanging on their front porch, watching trains pass by, counting cars and talking to their neighbors, are apparently the model of wedded bliss. They each have their own bedroom — so Herbert can stay up late watching baseball. Well, I guess distance does makes the heart grow fonder.”

Our friends Melanie and Brad Watson of La Dolce Vita Studio posted a few shots of Michelle and Jamaal’s engagement session in their blog today. I can’t wait to see more! Their wedding will be here before we know it! I met with Michelle and her lovely mom on Friday to finalize the cake details and discuss floral arrangements and linens – it’s going to be amazing! Lucky groom Jamaal got to head to Tampa for the Super Bowl while we discussed the pretty details. I’m so happy we will have incredible photographers like Melanie and Brad to capture the wedding day.
