I started my career in Hospitality in 1996, and I’ve never looked back. I have experience working in theme parks, hotels, and country clubs, and in 2002 I started a wedding planning business called First Coast Weddings and Events. A lot has changed in the world of wedding planning over the years! But we’re still here, and our team is as strong as ever.
How can I help you with your business?
I love talking to other business owners and sharing the challenges that we all face. Especially today, when anyone can say they are a wedding planner if they have an Instagram account with some pretty pictures. Not only do I love weddings, I love the business of weddings! Some of my favorite things are:
Creating systems for both planning weddings and keeping your business on track.
Setting up apps/tools to streamline all the processes.
Talking through challenges and overcoming obstacles.
Teaching you how to create thorough timelines that vendors love.
Private Coaching Sessions
One-on-one coaching sessions are available via Zoom and typically last 60 minutes. You’ll tell me a little about your business and where you need help in advance to make the most of our time together. After our session, you’ll receive a follow up email with a recap of our conversation and any follows ups or recommendations.
Venue Coaching
With a background in sales and operations for a privately-owned venue, I have a unique position to offer coaching both on the wedding logistics side and the venue management side. Venue coaching is available via Zoom, or I am available for travel for in-person consultations.
Speaking Engagements
I have a passion for education – even for seasoned professionals, there is always something to learn! My goal is always to leave the audience with key takeaways that they can implement that very day to deliver outstanding service to their clients and grow their business. I have spoken locally, regionally, and nationally for the Association of Bridal Consultants, National Association for Catering and Events, and other industry organizations.
