If you are planning a wedding in Jacksonville or Northeast Florida, chances are your venue includes a “venue coordinator.” On the surface, it sounds like everything is covered. One person, one point of contact, one less thing to worry about.

But recently, we have seen a situation come up more than once. A couple plans their entire wedding assuming the venue coordinator will guide them through the process, only to find out shortly before the wedding that their contact is no longer with the venue.

And suddenly, they are left asking an important question: who is actually coordinating our wedding?
