For E & J, the perfect wedding setting was somewhere that already held happy memories. Having enjoyed vacations at Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa, they chose to return for an entirely new reason: to celebrate their marriage with the people they love.

Their October 2025 wedding in Ponte Vedra Beach brought together a classic white and green palette, a first look, and a very special four-legged member of the wedding party. It was a celebration shaped by their own story, with thoughtful consideration for the family and friends sharing the weekend.

A favorite getaway becomes their wedding venue

Choosing a wedding venue often begins with imagining how a place will feel on the big day. E & J already knew how much they enjoyed spending time at Sawgrass Marriott. Hosting their wedding there gave a familiar vacation destination a new place in their lives.

The resort also offered something they valued for their guests: the opportunity to stay in the same location as the ceremony and reception. Their families could settle in, enjoy the resort amenities, and spend the wedding weekend together. That attention to the guest experience made the venue a natural fit for the celebration they envisioned.

A timeless white and green wedding

E & J chose a predominantly white palette with touches of green, creating a classic, romantic direction for their wedding design. The simplicity of the colors suited their timeless style and kept the overall look cohesive.

A first look and a special role for Kiwi

Before the ceremony, E & J shared a first look. Building that moment into the day gave them time to see one another before joining their guests for the wedding ceremony.

And the brides were not the only ones dressed for the occasion. Their dog, Kiwi, took part in the ceremony wearing a pretty white dress of her own. Including her was a sweet reflection of their life together, and her outfit fit right in with the wedding’s white palette.

A celebration centered on the people they love

What we love about E & J’s wedding is the intention behind their choices. They returned to a place that meant something to them, considered how their guests would experience the weekend, and made room for the personal touches that mattered most.
